Travis Player Grew up helping his father with his bulkhead and piling business, he learnt the

ropes of the trade but decided he needed to move into a different direction.

This found him starting a DJ business back in 2008. Bringing his skill to the business saw it

quickly expand. Travis had by then started to develop systems for the business that would

enable a smooth transition once he did not need to be always there to run it. At the young

age of 19 the entrepreneur in him kicked in and he sold his fledging business for a profit.

One passion of his worked out alright, and so Travis decided to venture into another of his

closely held passions, a hair salon. With a business partner, the young Player opened Tease

Color and style bar, one of Houston’s top salons. Here he learnt the most important aspect

of the trade. ‘’it is very important to build relationships and market’’. With this useful tip in

place, TEASE, as he fondly calls it was known nationally eventually being published in two

national beauty magazines Allure and Dejour as well as other local magazines. Crowning

yet another successful venture.

Old skills hardly go, and the year 2016 saw Travis going back to his roots. After 9 months of

intensive real estate investment training and having helped his father build multiple spec

homes in Galveston Tx, He launched NEXT Residence LLC. A real estate development company catering to Houston and Galveston.  Travis has a strong passion for real estate and loves to help clients sell their homes as well as helping them find the perfect home to fit their needs.
